Lots of breast lumps everywhere…?

I’m approx. 17 years old, and planning on having a mammogram eventually. I have always had sort of lumpy breasts, like very lumpy, but never said anything about it due to shyness. About 8 months ago I started birth control (not sure if it’s relevant.) So now in the past month I started doing breast exams (not sure why I waited until now). I’m not sure what I’m feeling for though…they’re saying to check for lumps, well, there are lumps everywhere! My entire breast tissue is one solid mass of lumps that feel like marbles glued to each other in a weird shape inside the skin. I have checked and it’s like that always, not just when I have my period. Also, they really hurt a lot of the time and are sore and swollen (not just during my period). There is a history of breast cancer in my mothers side, skin cancer on her side, and liver cancer on my dads side. Should i be worried? I cant perform a self-exam because I wouldn’t be able to tell if I had a new lump anymore than I could tell you what color your house is! haha, can someone please explain this to me?
